Take a Crack at This...

AIEE!
Now you may be asking yourself, "Self, why did Lynsey make the title of this post so exuberant?" The answer is simple: I got an A- on my AP History final! AHHHH!
Can you tell I'm happy?
I had two nightmares about Mr. Beaman's class over break. In one of them, I somehow managed to get an overall A in the class. In the second dream, I scored 43 points out of the 300 possible (for those of you who are wondering, that's a little over 14%). The nightmare (unfortunately) cast a nervous gloom over my potentially relaxing vacation. I would enjoy a few precious hours of leisure before my heart would drop into my stomach like so much hardened fruitcake.
Alas, many a night was spent lying in bed, dreading my first day back to school. I speculated that I had obviously destroyed my G.P.A. and decided that my only salvation could come through dropping Mr. Beaman’s class. Of course, since I knew my parents wouldn’t really go for that option, the beating my G.P.A. was obviously about to take would definitely destroy my chances of getting into any “good” colleges. As you might have noticed, I can be quite self-deprecating at times and a bit of a fatalist (read: drama queen).
In any case, my worries were all for naught, and I can now find rest in the thought that my G.P.A. survived another potentially-fatal encounter. Heh, if this isn’t obvious proof that there really is a God, I don’t know what is! :)
