Sheesh, what a day. First I wake up to news that President Bush's military forces in Iraq have captured Saddam Hussein. (And people doubted old George!) Then our family heads out for its annual Christmas shopping trip at Lloyd Center where I spend over $100 in the space of a few hours buying presents for my family and friends. (okay, okay, so I bought myself a frame for Nathan's senior picture and some new jeans. Those pants were getting so old and stained, I had to get new ones! So sue me!) And I'm still on an emotional/spiritual high from the events of last week. Wow, I'm gonna go crash in a while. I need to rest. Happiness and shopping can really wear a person out! Plus I have an appointment with my orthodontist tomorrow at a most ungodly hour. Ah well, such is life.
